The Company
Vulcan began in 1979 as Vulcan Conveyor Services, an operation which offered site services for the installation and vulcanisation of industrial conveyor belting. The business later grew to be a supplier of conveyor belting and conveyor components into the UK, at which point, the name was modified to Vulcan Conveyor Equipment Ltd. In 2002, the business became involved with other rubber products and services out side the conveyor spares market. The company name was then modified to Vulcan Group Ltd. The additional operations included the opening of a rubber recycling facility in North Yorkshire and the distribution of rubber products including matting and sheeting. In 2007, the organisation was split in to separate subsidiary companies under Vulcan Group Ltd. This step has allowed the businesses to concentrate on specific specialist areas whilst consolidating the common Vulcan brand.
We’re proud of the way we operate. It’s driven the successful development of our company from the day it was founded. As we’ve grown, our approach to business has become a solid platform. Vulcan Group will continue to develop its people and assets to protect the future of its employees and shareholders.
The rubber band ball reflects the diversity and flexibility that, when brought together create something strong and durable.
